Belly Love
Sunday, April 28th at 1-3pm
This is a workshop for people who want to be kinder to their bodies. The journey of self-love and self-acceptance can be challenging and slow, but choosing to be kind to our bodies can help move us in the right direction. In this class, we’re going to focus specifically on our bellies and some of the most impactful and meaningful ways we can care for them as an act of self-love. While there’s often a focus on restrictive eating or intense exercise to “fix” our bellies, we’re going to dive into practices that nourish, heal, and comfort our bellies and the organs they contain.
This class will be taught by Maddie Lowen, yoga therapist and massage therapist, and Kate Saunders, massage therapist and holistic health coach. We’ll explore together how mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, self-massage, and nutrition can all play a role in loving and caring for our bellies. People of all body types, genders, and physical abilities are invited to join us for this accessible and inclusive exploration of self-love.
