Join Jennine Jordan and our Resonance community for an evening of Kirtan. Part of an ancient form of yoga known as Bhakti, or the yoga of devotion, Kirtan is often practiced as a song or chant, set to music. Jennine will be playing harmonium and leading chants - inviting you to chant along, or simply sit and feel the vibrations of collective sound. All are welcome.
There is no right or wrong way to sing kirtan. Aesthetics don’t matter. All that matters is the spirit, the feeling. You’re welcome to join in and follow along or simply sit and listen. Don’t worry about what you sound like, feel whatever you feel, have no expectations, no inhibitions. So whether you have fallen in love with kirtan, or you’re just curious to learn more…all are welcome!
